  1. NewIcons 4.6 Update

  4. This archive will update your NewIcons System from version 4.5 to 4.6.
  5. This is a small maintenance/bugfix release.  You must already have
  6. version 4.5 installed on your system to use this archive.  If you have
  7. not yet installed version 4.5, get the full 4.6 archive from the NewIcons
  8. Website (http://www.amiganet.org/NewIcons) or Aminet.

  10. Note that this is very likely to be the last update of the executables,
  11. since AmigaOS 3.5 will be integrating a newer icon format (NI compatible)
  12. with the operating system.

  15. How to install:
  16. ---------------

  18. You must have NewIcons v4.5 installed for this update to work. Simply
  19. click on the Update script in this main drawer to update the
  20. binaries.  If you wish to manually install the programs, just copy
  21. the binaries from their respective directories to the equivalent
  22. directories on your hard drive.

  24. *** If you have not installed NewIcons 4 at all yet, grab the latest
  25.     full archive of version 4.6 instead of this update.

  43.  - The wrong version was supplied with NewIcons 4.5, which contained
  44.    some beta code.  Use the version supplied here instead.
